Acer Liquid Gallant Duo is the new dual sim droid introduced in the market by Acer. The phone is not yet official but some specs got leaked and here I will discuss probable advantages and disadvantages of this smartphone with you. Well, Gallant Duo is possibly going to be a dual sim standby phone; not dual sim active. HTC recently launched HTC Desire V with similar specs powered by Android 4.0 ICS. Acer Liquid Gallant Duo too is built on Android 4.0 ICS platform. Powerful dual core processor, 1 GB RAM and separate GPU unit ensures faster and smoother performance.
Acer Liquid Gallant Duo features 4.3 inch TFT Capacitive touch screen display with resolution support of 540×960 px which is pretty impressive. Display has a pixel density of 265 ppi. Although the thickness of Gallant Duo is just around 9.9 mm overall weight of the droid is 145 gm which is higher in comparison to most recent smartphones.
Gallant Duo will come with 4 GB on board storage and micro SD card slot expandable up to 32 GB. It’s a 3G supported handset that can achieve high speed in GSM network as well as in 3G network. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth will be there for local area connectivity. Primary 5 MP rear facing shooter with features like LED flash, auto focus, Geo-tagging are excellent for a dual sim smartphone. Possibly the camera records video at HD 720p; not confirmed though. I still do not know whether there is a secondary camera or not. Battery is still unknown. You can positively expect long lasting battery.
