According to a recent rumor Amazon Kindle Fire 2 is coming on 7th August. Google officially announced the release of ASUS made Google Nexus 7 tab last week on 27th June. It was quite expected that Amazon will bring the release date of their next version of Kindle or Kindle Fire 2 as close as possible. May be it’s a rumor but 7th August announcement is very much in the cards. Since Nexus 7 is a sub-200 USD tab the competition is very high in market. Now any delay from Amazon may lose the market to Nexus 7. It seems Amazon is interested in throwing the challenge back to Google by releasing Fire 2 as early as possible.

According to the sources Amazon’s Kindle Fire 2 will come with good set of features and hardware used in the tab are collected from already reputed hardware manufacturers. LG is manufacturing the display of Kindle Fire 2 while TPK made touch panel will be used in the tab. Possibly metal body will be used instead of plastic ones. Hopefully, Kindle Fire 2 will feature 7 inches multi-touch display. Price of Kindle Fire 2is still unknown.
