Today MediaTek, the Taiwanese semi conductor company has announced the arrival of a new 3D suite of solutions, named as Cool 3D in New Delhi. The new 3D suite works on MediaTek MT6575 single core and MediaTek 6577 dual core SoC. This ‘Cool 3D’ suite is bundled with some attractive features. The company is claiming Cool 3D to be the best one in this business as it’s a cost effective and complete 3D suite solution for it’s smartphones. According to a recent report of Global Industry Analysts, Inc. the total number of 3D customers will increase up to 994 million units by 2018 globally.
Cool 3D
Cool 3D suite includes stereo 3D cameras, displays, real time 2D to 3D conversion, interactive 3D UI and more. This suite includes 3D Cool Shot, a camera application and 3D Cool Show, a visual 3D effect creator. 3D Cool Shot brings complete solution for cameras including pocket friendly dual lens 5 MP camera with full video recording at 1080p@30 fps and 3D video recording at 24 fps. MediaTek is the first company to integrate dual lens bridge technology in it’s SoC. No doubt, this 3D solution will encourage smartphone manufacturers to produce pocket friendly 3D smartphones. At the same time, 3D Cool Show is mainly responsible for 2D/3D conversion with anti fatigue capabilities.
Currently, LG is selling Optimus 3D Max in Indian market at Rs. 28,990/- in Flipkart on 11th September. MediaTek is well known for manufacturing budget friendly smartphones. This time again our expectations go high as MediaTek’s Cool 3D is coming soon.
