Cyanogen Mod 10 Successfully Ported JellyBean in Samsung Galaxy Ace & Galaxy Geo

Cyanogen Mod 10, the JellyBean custom ROM has been successfully ported in Samsung Galaxy Ace and Galaxy Geo. This upgrade is a bit of surprise as none of these droids were considered for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade. If you own Galaxy Ace or Galaxy Geo do not expect any official upgrade from Samsung. Yet again the Cyanogen Mod 10 done it for you. You will get detailed information on this upgrade in XDA Forums.

Cyanogen Mod 10 custom ROM earlier successfully ported Android 4.1 JellyBean in Samsung Galaxy S. Now the XDA developers are trying to install custom CM10 ROM in other low end devices.

Samsung is not interested in an ICS or JellyBean roll over to ARMv6 processor. That is the main reason why Galaxy Ace was not considered for Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade. Only word of caution, this custom ROM is in alpha testing period. You can install it at your own risk. Some features of JellyBean still not working. Do not worry, the development team will fix everything up soon. So, wait for a few more days before the fully tested custom ROM appears.
