Highly coveted Google Nexus 7 tab has finally been spotted in Indian marketplace. Currently IndiaTimes is the only retailer selling the first JellyBean tab. We earlier heard that the tab would hit Indian market by October or as early as late September. Miraculously, it is listed today couple of months before. Well, Nexus 7 is the first Android tab to get Android Jellybean. The major advantage of Nexus 7 is, it will be upgraded to next Android version when it will arrive. Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the only smartphone so far to get Android 4.1 JellyBean upgrade. However, the droid is still to arrive Indian market.
Nexus 7 is developed by ASUS and will be marketed as ASUS Google Nexus 7 in an alliance between these two companies.As per features, it is a 7 inch tab powered by 1.3 GHz quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 chipset processor and 1 GB RAM. Display is LED-backlit LCD type and supports 1280×800 pixels resolution at 216 ppi. Internal memory is 8 GB. No micro SD card slot is there. Li-Ion 4325 mAh battery is used to fuel this tab which yields impressive results, like 9 hrs of video playback, 10 hrs of web browsing and 300 hrs of standby time.
