HTC may announce the arrival of One X+ and 8X in September 19th event. A leaked tweet suggests that the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer could bring One X+ with some major changes in hardware while 8X is a a brand new product built on Windows Phone 8 OS. Although the tweet doesn’t cover full hardware specs of the handset but we can certainly get some useful info from it. HTC One X was earlier launched with 1.5 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core CPU. Now Tegra 3 quad core CPU is used but clocked at 1.6 GHz dual core or 1.7 GHz single core. Since the processor is clocked high (not over clocked) fast processing speed in ensured. HTC may be looking to supply 1 GB of RAM in upcoming One X+. We have seen couple of GBs of RAM in most recent handsets. The flagship doesn’t look that attractive so far. Until full specs are revealed it is too early to put it in frying pan.
Best part of HTC One X+ may be Sense 4.5 UI and out of the box Android 4.1.1 JellyBean. HTC Sense 4.0 UI was appreciated and was considered to be the best UI for Android 4.0 ICS. Now Sense 4.5 may be well optimized to work with JellyBean. Out of the box JellyBean means latest version of Android will run the handset ensuing much better performance. On board 32 GB of storage is also impressive. May be a micro SD card slot will be there. Well, nothing else we can say about this handset right now. Stay in touch for future updates.
