HTC One X Will be Getting Android 4.1 JellyBean Upgrade

HTC One X will be getting Android 4.1 JellyBean upgrade soon. Earlier Australian carrier Telus confirmed that HTC One XL and One S will be getting JB upgrade. HTC One X was not in that list. Since One X is not a part of Telus network we had the hope! Finally, HTC confirmed JellyBean upgrade for all three; One X, One XL and One S. Well, other companies

HTC Is yet to declare any particular date but we can expect it very soon. TheVerge reported the following what they have received from HTC’s Global Online Communications Manager-

“We know HTC fans are excited to get their hands on Google’s latest version of Android. At this point in time, we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean. Please stay tuned for more updates regarding device upgrades, timing and other details about HTC and Jelly Bean.”

Unfortunately, HTC’s mid range ICS droid One V is not in the list. May be it not considered for the upgrade presently. Don’t give up the hopes. It may be upgraded in future.
