iBall is the new vendor in Indian market to have a 5 inch phablet under sleeves. Micromax, Spice, WickedLeak already launched their respective phablets in Indian market. To be honest, phablets are doing better than regular smartphones having 4 inch or less than 4 inch display. Watching movies or playing games (whatever you name you access/want to access in your smartphone) is always pleasant in wide bigger display. The company has set the price of iBall Andi 5C to Rs. 13,000/- which is very much in the comfortable zone of most Indian buyers.
iBall Andi 5C features 5 inch IPS LCD Capacitive touch screen with resolution support of 480×800 px. This resolution is poor for a 5 inch phablet. But Micromax Superfone Canvas A100, Wammy Note (specs of Wammy Note), Mercury MagiQ or Spice MI-500 Stellar Horizon all having 5 inch display still launched with same resolution.
iBall Andi 5C
Well, the smartphone is preloaded with Android 4.0 ICS. Powered by 1 GHz single core Cortex A9 processor iBall Andi 5C sports 5 MP rear camera and VGA front camera. At this point, I feel price of Andi 5C is bit higher as compared to Micromax Canvas which is available for Rs. 9999 with similar specs. You have the opportunity of grabbing Mercury MagiQ (specs of Mercury MagiQ) that sports 12 MP rear camera or Spice Stellar Horizon (specs of Spice MI-500 Stellar Horizon) that is powered by dual core processor. Micromax is planning to release a dual core version of Canvas by late September. Other features like 3G support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, music, video player are common features of the phablet.

Andi 5C is a dual sim smartphone. It comes with integrated G-sensor, proximity sensor for auto display turn off and ambient light sensor. I think this is a strong part of this handset. Sensors do exactly the same what you normally do/want to do. The 5 inch phablet packs 4 GB on board storage (less than that in actual) and micro SD card slot expandable up to 32 GB. Li-Ion 2300 mAh battery runs this droid. We are yet to confirm some of the specs. I will update the post as soon as I collect more information on this handset.
