Kobian iXA is the newest member of the cheap tablet market of India. In recent times Micromax Funbook, BSNL Penta Tab, Aakash tab, Karbonn Smart Tab 1 have done exceedingly well that may have encouraged Kobian, the previously successful Mercury motherboard and peripheral manufacturer to release Kobean iXA tab in Indian market. iXA tab is powered by 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform. The tab has no 3G support but wide 7 inches display is excellent for gaming and watching movies and video in the screen.

Kobean iXA tab has 4 GB of internal storage which is not sufficient these days. Micro SD card expandable up to 32 GB is good enough to store number of music, video files, games and images in the disk. The tab has a VGA front side camera.
