LG is just about to bring a new smartphone under it’s pocket friendly ‘L’ series. It’s a stylish, thin smartphone with a slimming metallic streak in square sides of the phone. It’s LG Optimus L9! Running on Android 4.0 ICS Optimus L9 is fueled by 1 GHz dual core processor. Chipset is still unknown as the specs are not officially announced yet. The droid packs 4.7 inch IPS LCD display, the same display LG has used in most of it’s smartphones. Optimus L9 sports dual camera like other recent smartphone pieces of recent times.
LG Optimus L9 is the best model in ‘L’ series. The South Korean company is already selling Optimus L3, L3 Duos, L5 and L7. All current models in ‘L’ series are fueled by single core processor. Optimus L9 is the first droid to get a dual core processor. SiO+ technology enhanced 2150 mAh battery is used in this phone which promises to deliver long hours of backup. It’s the same technology that was earlier used in flagship Optimus 4X HD.
LG has brought some serious software tweaks in this smartphone. New enhanced MyStyleKeyboard makes typing easier and faster. Language translation app QTranslator can translate sentences and phrases from 44 different languages to 64 native languages using OCR technology.
We still have no information on pricing and availability of this handset. We can expect it to hit market by next quarter this year. Anything earlier than that would be highly appreciated by LG lovers. I will update the post as soon as I get more information on L9. Before you leave the page take a quick look at some features-
