You can not separate LG from other high end smartphone manufacturers. LG’s Optimus 4X HD set the tone for the company followed by quad core Optimus Vu that will be shipping soon. The South Korean giant already started planning to release Optimus LTE2 as Optimus G for the global market. Earlier LG launched Optimus LTE2 exclusively for the Korean market. Now the global release tells the inside story that LG is in business of expanding it’s smartphone market to other major marketplaces apart from their familiar home territory.
Most impressive feature of LG Optimus G is VoLTE support which is voice communication support over LTE network. NVIDIA Tegra 3 chipset will run this wonderful piece of smartphone.
LG Optimus G Coming Soon- Optimus LTE2 Re-Branded Including VoLTE
According to a recent report from Asia Today, a South Korean daily, LG has considered Optimus LTE2 as the competitor of Samsung Galaxy S III. The droid will be re-branded as Optimus G. Optimus LTE2 will run Android ICS, quad core Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 chipset in addition of 2 GB of RAM. No doubt specs are impressive. Now the question is, how it will perform in benchmark tests. In best case, it will leave it’s close competitor Galaxy S III behind.
Optimus LTE2 will feature 4.7 inch True HD IPS LCD Capacitive touch screen, impressive 13 MP camera. The phone will be built on refreshed Optimus 3.0 UI which is one of the best in business in recent times.
IFA 2012 is just around the corner. I hope LG will release at least some hints about their upcoming ‘Optimus G’ in IFA Tech event even if they decide to hide it for few more days.
