LG Optimus Vu Features, Specs & Price in India

LG is ready to take on Samsung in the phablet market with it’s 5 inch smartphone Optimus Vu. The droid was earlier released for the Korean market. Now some refreshing features are added in the the droid before the global release. Four Cortex A9 CPU cores are coupled with ULP GeForce GPU in this droid which replaces older Snapdragon S2 and Aderno 220. Optimus Vu will be available in selected marketplaces in Europe, Asia, Middle East, South East and Latin America. We went through LG VS950 which is looks similar to Optimus Vu that will be coming soon for the Verizon Wireless in USA. We can expect the LG Optimus Vu phablet to start shipping as early as September.

LG Optimus Vu is running on quad core 1.3 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 chipset processor and Android 4.0 ICS platform in addition with 1 GB RAM. It features 5 inch HD-IPS LCD Capacitive touch screen with resolution support of 768×1024 pixels at impressive 256 ppi pixel density. The droid can hit up to 21 Mbps HSDPA speed in 3G HSDPA network. Primary 8 MP camera and secondary 1.3 MP camera are impressive features of Optimus Vu.

You can see Optimus Vu features similar to Samsung Galaxy Note. The only difference is Optimus Vu running quad core CPU while Galaxy Note deals with a dual core one. Also the display size of Note is slightly larger than Vu. Optimus Vu supports micro SIM card while Galaxy Note is more traditional.

LG Optimus Vu comes with 32 GB on board storage. It lacks micro SD card slot which is disappointing to me. Battery size of the droid is still unknown. Apart from that we have found some attractive features in this 5 inch phablet. Take a look at the features-
