Micromax Funbook Pro, a new pocket friendly Android tablet is just spotted in the official website of Micromax. The company decided to enrich it’s inventory by bringing Funbook Pro, a successor of 7 inch Funbook. It’s a 10.1 inch tablet. The company is yet to disclose any releasing date for Funbook Pro. We hope the tablet will be coming soon like what Micromax does every time.
After having success with 7 inch Funbook Micromax opted to bring a larger variant of the tab. I thought upcoming Micromax tab to run Android 4.1 Jellybean but somehow they opted for Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. Surprisingly, same 1.2 GHz processor and dual core Mali 400-2D/3D GPU are used in this new variant which means the price will not be more than Rs. 10k.
Micromax Funbook Pro 2
Micromax Funbook Pro features 10.1 inch TFT Capacitive touch screen with resolution support of 1024×600 pixels which is very very impressive in deed. Single core Cortex A8 processor runs the tab along with 1 GB of RAM. The tab comes with 8 GB of internal storage and micro SD card slot expandable up to 32 GB. The tablet is suitable for e-book reading. It comes preloaded with study materials starting from primary to under graduate level. Sample papers of Medical, Engineering and MBA exams will be loaded in this tab too.
Micromax Funbook Pro makes social sharing easy and interactive. It comes with easy Facebook, Twitter sharing options. The tab is capable of running 2160p HD video without lagging. HDMI v1.4 can be used to connect this tab with other compatible devices to stream video in larger display. Front facing VGA camera is useful for video calling over 3G network. Bluetooth is not included as connectivity option. Wi-Fi is there. Connect your tab to internet using Wi-Fi or USB dongle.

Micromax Funbook Pro is a light weight tab that comes with sturdy design and easy to hold back panel. The tab has a dimension of 192×122 mm. Thickness is still unknown.
