Micromax Superfone A100 Canvas vs Micromax Superfone A90 Pixel

Micromax Superfone A100 Canvas vs Micromax Superfone A90 Pixel- Micromax recently added Superfone A90 Pixel and Superfone A100 Canvas in their smartphone line up. Micromax has already made a mark in smartphone market for quality smartphones at affordable price. These two droids follow the trend set by earlier models. Superfone A90 Pixel (specs of Micromax A90 Pixel) is the first phone Micromax has brought to market featuring AMOLED display. AMOLED or Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode is an advanced display technology which is arguably better than OLED, TFT and LCD as it saves power considerably. Additionally, AMOLED display is responsible for low contrast and high brightness which means better quality display. Anyway, I will not be going too deep in AMOLED display technology. Let’s come back to the comparison. Micromax A100 Canvas (specs of Micromax A100 Canvas) features wide 5 inch TFT touch screen. Such 5 inch smartphones are termed as phablets. A100 has become very popular in short time because of it’s wide, large display. Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich these droids show some distinct differences. Let’s take a look at the comparison table for easy understanding-

Superfone Canvas or Superfone Pixel?

You can see A100 has larger display, more suitable for watching movies or playing games while A90 delivers razor sharp display quality. Both are running on same Android version and fueled by same 1 GHz single core processor. Because of it’s larger display A100 uses powerful 2000 mAh battery whereas A90 comes with regular smartphone display size and goes with 1600 mAh battery. Price of A90 is higher than A100 which makes some difference in buyer’s mind. It’s quite difficult to keep A100 in pocket as it is larger and heavier. You can try some cases out in the market. Summing everything together I can say, go for Micromax Superfone A100 Canvas. It’s a phablet and one of the very few cheap ones available in market.
