Motorola RAZR i, the first Intel Atom inside smartphone will not be coming to Indian market in future. The droid will be heading to UK, couple of other European countries i.e. Germany & France and Brazil, Argentina and Mexico in October. India or any other Asian countries are not in Motorola’s plan right now. It’s not too important but in future it may happen that Motorola may not release any other smartphones in Indian market in future. The company is currently pulling off business from Indian market which may become a serious concern for Moto fans in India. It’s not to transparent what will happen to currently available handsets.

RAZR i is powered by all new 2.0 GHz Intel Atom MedField chipset processor with advanced features like hyper threading. According to Intel this 32nm technology powered chip doesn’t require multi core architecture. The manufacturer is quite confident on MedField’s processing capabilities. Except Motorola other big fishes have shown confidence in multi-core Qualcomm or Tegra 3 processors.
However, edge-to-edge desing of Motorola RAZR i is impressive. It sports 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display, 8 MP camera, NFC, high speed 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 2000 mAh battery, 8 GB storage etc. Overall specs are impressive. Let’s see what happens to other Moto droids in future.
