Must See Place in India-Corbett National Park

The Park is named after famous hunter Jim Corbett who spent his precious times in the forest here. The park boasts of the Tiger Project.
In this park you can view 110 species of tree, 50 types of mammals, 600 species of colorful birds and numerous reptiles. If you are lucky enough you can find the majestic tigers. If you visit Rakganga River you can view the gharials busy eating fish. If you a bird lover you must visit the dam of Kalaghar where various species of birds both migratory and local are noticed chirping.

You can opt for jeep safari, horse Safari, Elephant Safari and if you are a dare devil kind of fellow you may roam in the corners walking with your friends being guided by a local tourist guide who knows the forest quite well.
How to Reach Corbett National Park?
You can enter the Park one of the must see places in India from the Dhangiri gate 20 km from Ramnagar. Actually the Park has two zones Ramnagar and Dhikala 50 km from Ramnagar.You have to reach half an hour before the entry as there are some formalities.
Best Time to Visit Corbett National Park
Avoid the months of Monsoon and if you want you visit the park in the winter though you may suffer from excessive chill.
