No JellyBean to Sony Ericsson Xperia’s Says Product Manager Sony, UK

Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V, Xperia arc S, Xperia Play, Xperia arc, Xperia neo, Xperia Active, Xperia mini, Xperia mini Pro are the popular handsets launched by Sony Ericsson during 2011. Sony rolled over Ice Cream Sandwich to all these droids. Unfortunately, none of these smartphones will be ported latest version of Android, v4.1.1 JellyBean. This news is very disappointing for majority of Sony Ericsson Community. But a recent conversation clearly states that Sony is not at all interested in porting JellyBean in slightly older droids.

No Android 4.1 JellyBean Upgrade for Sony Ericsson Xperia Droids

Product Manager, Sony Mobile, UK responded in the Sony Mobile UK Official Facebook page that they are not looking to upgrade any ‘Sony Ericsson’ branded smartphones, not even Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S. But the recent droids with ‘Sony’ as brand name will definitely get Android 4.1 JellyBean roll over at some state. The executive didn’t mention any particular time when the flagship, Xperia S will be upgraded.
