Good news for Windows Phone lovers!! Price of Nokia Lumia 800 has been dropped by a huge margin! Now Lumia 800 is available for Rs. 23500/- in India. The model started with Rs. 29999/- in India and now a 25% direct cut off. Previously, Nokia did the same for Lumia 710 and now for Lumia 800. All these automatically raise a question how well Windows Phones are performing in India. To be honest, it seems Nokia Windows Phones need to go a long way to market in India.

Nokia Lumia 800 is a feature rich phone that comes with Windows 7.5 Mango as OS, 1.4 GHz Scorpion Qualcomm chipset processor, 3.7 inches AMOLED display, 8 MP primary camera and integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Windows 7.5 Mango is a promising operating system. It seems features are not what people in India are looking at. Android is the other factor that may be playing from the background. Nokia Lumia 610 may perform well in India as the starting price is expected to be around Rs. 11000/-
