Nokia N9 Gets Android 4.1 JellyBean Upgrade-See Inside

Nokia N9 gets Android 4.1 JellyBean upgrade! Does it sound crazy? No it is a rumor! You read it right! Yes, there is slight difference to what it actually sounds. The difference is it is not an official upgrade from Nokia. Nokia slowly let one of it’s best ever phones to die that was built on MeeGo. It may be an abandoned one to the company not to it’s fans. On 18th July a photo uploaded in Twitter by Alexey Roslyakov shows that Nokia N9 is ported Android 4.1 JellyBean. This image confirms that the model is Nokia N9 and the Android version is 4.1 JB.

This hacking does not suggest N9 is fully functional on Android. Previously, we saw HTC HD2, a Windows Phone, was ported JellyBean. In both these occasions developers are able to port JellyBean on other platform devices but they are yet to confirm how well the phone is functioning. It would be a real gift to many users, at least for current Nokia N9 users to have fully functioning Android 4.1 JellyBean.
