Reliance Communications has just announced the arrival of their new Android tab, Reliance 3G Tab V9A. Quite surprisingly they have opted for slightly outdated Android 2.3 Gingerbread instead of Android 4.1 JellyBean or at least Android 4.0 ICS. The new tab is priced at Rs. 14,499. Well, the best part of this tab is on board 3G support. Most tablets available market support 3G via USB dongles. So, you can say you do not need to carry the additional dongle when you have this tab.

Reliance 3G Tab V9A features 7 inch TFT Capacitive touch screen with resolution support of 1024×600 px and 5 point multi touch input. Single core 1.4 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM run this tab smoothly. May be a dual core processor and 1 GB RAM would have been nice combination. But the manufacturer is satisfied with current hardware performance. By the way, camera segment of the tab is really impressive, dual camera is there. Rear facing 3 MP camera and VGA front facing camera for video calling are nice little combination. The tab has only 4 GB on internal memory.
