Review, Features, Price of Motorola RAZR MAXX

Motorola RAZR MAXX, a dual core powered droid run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread possibly to get upgraded to Android 4.0 ICS is a stylish (just 9 inches of thickness) Smartphone with some powerful features in it. The droid operates on quad band GSM and dual band 3G network. The display of the phone is 4.3 inches wide and is built of Super AMOLED Advanced Capacitive touch screen with maximum resolution support of 540×960 pixels(256 ppi). The display surface is coated with scratch resistant material and splash resistant too. RAZR MAXX comes with integrated 16 GB storage and micro SD card slot that can house another 32 GB of memory. 1 GB RAM is there to support a 1.2 GHz dual core TI OMAP processor to make multitasking smooth and fast.

Motorola RAZR MAXX sports 8 MP primary camera featured with LED flash, auto focus, touch focus, face detection, smile detection, image stabilization features and records HD quality video at 1080p@30 fps. Secondary camera is crafted on the front panel just above the display to facilitate video calling over 3G network. RAZR MAXX is capable of achieving high speed data transfer and superior connectivity through Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot and DLNA. Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP is there too along with micro USB port. HML link from the micro USB port works as external TV-out port.

Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX earlier released for Verizon as CDMA and now available as GSM with couple of major upgrades. The most interesting part of RAZR MAXX is the 3300 mAh Li-Ion battery used in the phone. It is a giant battery and hopefully the most powerful battery used in any handset ever. Earlier, Samsung Galaxy Note, a 5.3 inch droid much like a tab was powered by a 2500 mAh Li-Ion battery but RAZR MAXX a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Advanced droid gets a powerhouse in it, more powerful battery than Galaxy Note. RAZR MAXX is expected to offer more than 17 hours of talk time which is too good for an Android driven Smartphone.

The price of Motorola RAZR MAXX is set to 430 Euro or 680 USD in the UK. The droid is also expected to ship in other European countries and middle East. The exact release date is not revealed but you can expect the droid at sometime in early May.
