Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos is a dual SIM active Smartphone. One the other hand, Samsung released two different version of Galaxy Y as Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos. I have written a post comparing Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Ace Duos. In this post I will compare Galaxy Y Pro Duos and Galaxy Ace Duos. The first difference you will notice is the difference in working principle of the dual SIMs. Ace Duos comes with dual SIM Active service and contains one CDMA and one GSM SIM card support whereas Galaxy Y Pro Duos is a dual SIM Standby phone and supports GSM network in both the SIMs. QWERTY keyboard of Y Pro Duos makes a lot of difference to Ace Duos. But in India the price is Rs. 9800/-. Price makes a difference in such occasions. It is you who have to take the decision at this point.

Verdict

Apart from QWERTY keyboard and secondary camera nothing special in Galaxy Y Pro Duos. If you do not use your phone too much for typing activities I recommend Galaxy Ace Duos without any hesitation. Final winner of Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos vs Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos comparison is Galaxy Ace Duos.

Thank you very much for your kind information!! You are absolutely right. Galaxy Y Pro Duos is cheaper than Galaxy Ace Duos. The reason is, the post was published before the release of the model in India. I am trying to develop an automated price updation system. Hopefully it will eliminate issues related to price.Price updated for both the models. It will change again :)

I have been using the Galaxy Y pro for five days and have been pretty much satisfied with it’s speed and build quality.

To my experience, its the best QWERTY android device you can get at a budget price and be satisfied with its performance. There are many expensive android devices out there which can do half what the galaxy y pro can do.

Oh! I cant stop texting on my galaxy y pro! am writing this comment right from my phone :)
