Samsung Galaxy Q Specification, Features & Price

Samsung Galaxy Q is the latest inclusion in this regarded Samsung Galaxy series of Smartphone. It is yet another model that comes with QWERTY keyboard and all features of a Smartphone. It comes with both touch and type facility. Samsung Galaxy Q is Android 2.2 Froyo driven which seems to be bit confusing after release of Android 2.3 Gingerbread. However, 3.2 inches of wide capacitive touch screen display with a standard resolution of 320*480 is a real bonus with a QWERTY Smartphone.

Like other models of Samsung Galaxy Series Galaxy Q supports 3G network, HSPDA,7.2Mbps with HSDPA 850/1900MHz band. Moreover, it is featured with high speed internet connectivity through GPRS and EDGE. It is featured with Bluetooth A2DP connector v 2.1 which seems to be bit older after the release of Bluetooth v3.0 yet features like Wi-Fi and GPS fulfills buyers’ dreams.

The most disappointing thing I have felt in Samsung Galaxy Q is 3.2 MP camera where most of Smartphone come with at least 5 Mp camera. Moreover, no secondary camera is available for video calling. So in a word you can say it is poor Smartphone for camera lovers.

Galaxy Q comes with 2 GB of internal memory and a micro SD card slot which can accommodate external memory up to 32 GB.  Other features like Java, micro USB, integrated apps for social networking i.e. Facebook, Twitter available for entertainment. FM radio with RDS is very common these days. Music player, video player are not much to talk about. Standard battery with 200+ hours of talk time is too disappointing with this class.
