Samsung Galaxy S Advance vs HTC Desire V-Once again Samsung is up against HTC. This time the competition is between two mid range droids.Desire V runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense 4.0 UI whereas Samsung Galaxy S Advance is continuing with Android 2.3 Gingerbread powered by Samsung TouchWiz UI. Both these droids are slim and stylish. But Galaxy S Advance is more powerful and has better resource to utilize. Couple of Cortex A9 cores are coupled in Galaxy S Advance whereas One V lacks in this segment and has one Cortex A9 CPU. Also the Galaxy model has more amount of RAM; 768 MB of RAM over 512 MB RAM. Same Mali 400-MP GPU unit is used in both droids.
HTC Desire V can house up to 2 sim cards whereas Galaxy S Advance is more traditional and allows one sim card. Dual sim phones are advantageous than single sim ones. Powered by Beats Audio sound technology Desire V can produce better quality sound in it’s music player. Galaxy S Advance is more centric towards gaming or anything that require more powerful processor. Desire V lacks secondary camera; video recording is also poor. You can see Samsung Galaxy S Advance is more powerful as compared to HTC Desire V. For gamers no doubt it is the best choice. Galaxy S Advance will be upgraded to Android ICS for sure. One the other hand, Desire V lacks secondary camera which seems to be a real flaw. Dual sim support is the best part of HTC Desire V. Go for it if you don’t bring video calling in consideration.
