10 million units of Samsung Galaxy S III already got sold in just 2 months of time since it’s release in late May. This is no surprise to as the flagship droid was pre-ordered for more than 9 million units. This staggering figure is officially disclosed by Samsung’s president of Information Technology and Mobile Communication Division Shin Jong-kyun.
This figure is expected to turn out better as it seems Apple to release it’s sixth generation iPhone by fall this year. With no surprise for next few months the droid will rule the market. HTC has it’s One X with similar specs but their flagship seems to have any impact on Galaxy S III’s sales. Shortage in production caused some delay in release of the droid in 4 major US carriers. Otherwise, the stats would have been even better.
Samsung Galaxy S III Sales Reach 10 million in Less than 2 Months
The market seems not to change too much before iPhone 5 comes in market. Although some issues are raised regarding the built in quality of the flagship droid but the trend seems not to change with these minor issues. Samsung is aiming to sell around 40 million S III is this current year. Galaxy S II did almost the same thing last year but it took more time to reach the first landmark of 10 million units. Overall, Samsung Galaxy S sales crossed 43 million units which is unbelievable numbers of this South Korean company.
