Samsung to Bring LTE Supported Odyssey and Marco Windows Phone 8 in the Final Quarter

Samsung is working on Windows Phone 8, we knew that. Now we also the names of the  upcoming Windows Phone 8 headsets. Odyssey and Marco. are going to be the new WP8 handsets. In a recent patent litigation Samsung got involved with Apple and was brought to court. Samsung submitted a document where the two upcoming devices were listed. Somehow the confidential document got leaked and flashed in TheVerge. These are going to be 4G LTE supported handsets featuring Super AMOLED display.

Both these WPs will be powered by 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 chipset that Microsoft is trying set as standard for Windows Phone 8. Among the duos Odyssey seems to be the better one featuring larger 4.65 inch Super AMOLED display with HD resolution and 8 MP rear facing shooter. On the other hand, Marco will feature 4.0 inch Super AMOLED display with WVGA resolution support and 5 MP rear camera.

We can expect Samsung Odyssey and Marco to hit market by the final quarter this year. Microsoft set to officially release Windows Phone 8 in October. Samsung is yet to comment on this.
