dude …i own a neo v
and all these disadvantages are so wrongly put over here
#the loudspeaker preformance and the view angles are pretty good for a phone of its cost
#the sound quality is absolutely amazing
#and the 5 mp cam is too good for its resolution
and also the memcard slot is not below the battery
disadvantages
* i do agree that 1ghz is too common now a days
* the 1gb internal memory is a bit too low for a smartphone thesedays
Thanks for your feedback! I hope your hands-on review will help buyers identifying pros & cons of Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V.
also keep in mind there is no mass storage mode in omnia w
limited storage only 8 gb , not expandable
superadmin looks like a Samsung fanboy
Regarding upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich I do not think will make much difference. Right now app availability is limited with Android 4.0 and phones like SE neo V may suffer with inferior hardware.
No expandable memory, no flash support I agree disadvantages of Omnia W.
To anil and superadmin
dude…
how about 3.7 inch screen
more powerful processor a key feature for android performance
support for flash, which is not available in omnia w
secondary video camera
up grade to ice cream sandwich
best audio quality
and it is available for RS 15150 in ebay
imo you should go for neo v
hi ,i m planning to buy a good multimedia phone..my sorting are nokia lumia 710,se xperia neo v and samsung omnia w…which would be better
I would not suggest Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V. Why to spend so much of money when you get similar features in Samsung Galaxy Y (almost half price) and with not much of difference in features. You will get Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 820 MHz processor, 2 MP camera, extendable memory,HSDPA,,Bleutooth,Wi-Fi, A-GPS in Samsung Galaxy Y for Rs. 7500/-. Sony Ericsson Xperia sucks with 5 MP camera, Android 2.3, 1 GHz processor, etc etc.Yes, you will additionally get secondary VGA camera for SE neo V.:)
In my opinion go for Samsung Omnia W when you have budget of 17k or something like that. This post may help you distinguish between Omnia W and Nokia Lumia 710: http://www.crazyupdates.com/nokia-lumia-710-vs-samsung-omnia-w/
