Sony Xperia T is the new flagship model coming from the house of Sony Mobile featuring 4.55 inch Reality Display. The droid is built around Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Xperia T is fueled by 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm MSM8260A Snapdragon chipset processor, 1 GB RAM and Aderno 225 GPU. I am quite surprised to see Sony’s new flagship is packing dual core processor when Samsung replaced dual core with a quad core one in Galaxy S III (specs of Samsung Galaxy S III) and upcoming Galaxy Note 2 (specs of Samsung Galaxy Note 2). LG is having two quad core flagships under their custody. LG Optimus G (specs of LG Optimus G)) is in the coming soon list packing quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip. However, display and camera are impressive. Xperia T features 13 MP rear facing camera with features like LED flash, auto focus, face and smile detection, image stabilization etc. Primary camera records full HD video at 1080p. Secondary front facing camera is a 1.3 MP one exclusively for video calling.
Sony Xperia T operates on quad band GSM and penta band HSDPA network. Unlike Xperia V no LTE radio is included in it. However, built on Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine Xperia T features impressive 4.55 inch Reality display with resolution support of 720×1280 pixels at 323 ppi. Scratch resistant coating on display surface makes it shatter and scratch resistant.
Unlike most recent flagships Xperia T is available in 16 GB storage model only. Micro SD card slot expandable up to 32 GB is the only way you can increase memory. The droid comes with several connectivity options i.e. high speed GPRS/EDGE in GSM network, HSDPA/HSUPA in 3G network, Wi-Fi with hotspot connectivity, Bluetooth, micro USB and NFC one touch connectivity. TV-out port via MHL link allows you to connect your smartphone to your TV set to stream media directly to your TV.
Li-Ion 1850 mAh battery is the source of power in this phone. It delivers up to 7 hrs of talk time and around 450 hrs of standby time. A more powerful battery would have been a better choice with this handset. Take a look at the key features and specs-
