Sony Xperia V is a LTE supported handset announced in an IFA Press Conference. Running on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich Xperia V is already planned for future upgrade to Android 4.4.1 JellyBean. Dual core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon CPU powers the droid. It also packs 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB on board storage. Additional memory requirements can be met by inserting micro SD card in the slot. Xperia V sports 13 MP rear camera and VGA front camera. Price camera is capable of shooting 4128×3096 pixels resolution still images and 1080p full HD video recording.
Sony Xperia V sports 4.3 inch TFT Capacitive touch screen Reality Display with resolution support of 720×1280 pixels at 342 ppi pixel density which means display is sharper and brighter. Due to high pixel density (gap between two neighboring pixels is considerably low) everything looks like natural. Built on Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine & Timecape UI Xperia V supports up to 10 fingers multitouch.
Xperia V comes with several connectivity options; in GSM network you can connect your smartphone to GPRS/EDGE Class 12 network. You can enjoy real speed, lightning fast download in unspecified HSDPA and LTE network. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot and micro USB are local area connectivity options you have to transfer data to and from the handset.
Xperia V comes with integrated NFC radio which allows one touch connectivity. NFC is no new feature to us. But a dedicated application deserves appreciation. Display and camera are the two segment to watch out for. Other features are pretty much the same, what you have seen so far in other high end handsets. One thing I have forgot to mention which is the USP of Sony Xperia V is it’s a IP57 certified water and dust proof handset. So, no more worries when it starts raining suddenly. Take a look at the specs and features-

Sony Xperia V Price
Xperia V will be available in 3 different colors black, white, pink. Sony is yet to officially announce any time period of making this handset available in market. Price is also unknown till date. I will update once anything else leaks from the part of Sony Mobile. Since this is a 4G LTE supported handset I think it will not be coming to India. In case it comes you can not use 4G LTE in India. Indian carrier Airtel (currently) using 4G TD-LTE while in global market manufacturers release FD-LTE enabled handsets. I really doubt on it’s arrival in India.
