Tata Docomo is offering unlimited 3G data plan for just Rs. 250 for one month. It sound exciting as MTS is offering just 1 GB of EvDo speed for Rs. 248. Other companies also having 1 GB of 3G data plan at around the same price. Therefore, Tata Docomo plan seems to be brilliant. But the catch is Docomo will be offering high speed 3G data of 1 GB. Once you cross that limit speed will be downgraded to 64 kbps.

Currently Tata Docomo is showing an advertisement in TV where they are claiming unlimited data usage for just Rs.250. In that same advertisement you can see a small line where they have mentioned the catch. Otherwise, the company would have been accused for fraudent activities. However, Aircel is also offering a 1 GB 3G data plan at around the same price. In that case, once you cross that limit speed will be downgraded to 128 Kbps.
Tata Docomo is also offering full talk time in that recharge. That means once you recharge for Rs. 250, you will get Rs. 250 main account balance, 1 GB 3G data usage, unlimited 64 Kbps data. Once you summarize everything the plan is really a good one. Validity of the plan is 30 days. It’s true Rs. 250 unlimited 3G data plan involves some twist within it. Still, isn’t it a useful one?
