Viewsonic Viewphone 5e is a dual SIM smartphone with whooping 5 inches display. Quite surprisingly the 5 inch display has 800×480 pixels WVGA resolution. Display has poor 187 ppi pixel density who does not impress at all. However, dual SIM capability is impressive. Viewphone 5e runs on Android 4.0 ICS. Processor, RAM are still unknown. The craze of dual SIM phones are very high at this moment. To be honest, the main purpose of this phone is to impress audience who are mainly looking for a dual SIM droid; nothing else. Viewsonic promises this phone can hit high speed in 3G network. But nothing specified so far. Viewsonic Viewphone 5e is expected to hit market by the third quarter this year and MSRP less than $599.

Viewsonic announced this droid in Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on 24th February along with Viewsonic Viewphone 4S, Viewsonic Viewphone 4e. Expected release date is somewhere in third quarter this year. Price is less than $599 USD.
