Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi will bring MI-2 powered by next generation Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 chipset by October. MI-2 is the first smartphone to be powered by this 28nm technology enhanced brand new Qualcomm chipset. RAM is bumped to 2 GB from 1 GB which ensures faster and better performance. Processor is not a overclocked one; it is fixed to 1.5 GHz. MI-2 also runs the latest version of Android, v4.1 JellyBean. Xiaomi MI-2 features attractive set of hardware but it looks similar to Meizu MX 4 core. Apart from that MI-2 is impressive.
Xiaomi MI-2 features 4.3 inch IPS HD LCD Capacitive touch screen display, 8 MP shooter, 2 MP front facing shooter, 16 GB on board storage, micro SD card slot expandable up to 32 GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS support, TV-out port to name a few.
Expected price of Xiaomi MI-2 is going to be around $313 USD which is very much in the comfortable zone for most buyers. Major concern is the company is planning to debut it only in China.
