XOLO X900 is the first Intel Z2460 Mobile Processor powered smartphone brought to Indian market by Lava. Initially, the name of the droid was Lava XOLO X900. Now ‘Lava’ is removed from the brand and it’s only XOLO. Anyway, XOLO X900 is currently running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform; upgrade ti Android 4.0 ICS will be rolled over by the last quarter this year. It features 4 inches TFT LCD Capacitive touch screen support with scratch resistant coating on display and supports 1024 x 600 pixels resolution.
XOLO X900 sports dual camera; primary camera is a 8 MP one while the secondary front facing camera is a 1.3 MP. Primary camera comes with LED flash, auto focus and 8x digital zoom. The camera is capable of recording 1080p HD video too. XOLO is a 3G HSPA+ supported handset that can achieve up to 21 Mbps HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA speed in 3G network. Disadvantages of XOLO X900
As said earlier XOLO is packed with some quality features. Intel is arguably the best PC processor manufacturer. We are yet to see the performance of their Mobile Processor Z2460. We can expect to have similar performance.
- XOLO X900 shows a tendency of getting hot while playing games or watching HD video in it for hours. Also the battery is not what it promises. In real time use every figure is less than what it states. Battery is not a removable one as well.
- XOLO has high pixel density which produces larger image size. Due to high resolution support fonts and icons look slightly smaller.
